It was freshman year of college. Jordan sat next to Nicole in class and wasn’t sure he wanted to even talk with the petite, blonde, sorority letter sporting girl next to him. But when they partnered up to work on a project it opened the door to a friendship that stood the test of some major obstacles. Nicole become increasingly ill her freshman year and wasn’t sure if she could keep up with her demanding schedule. In a place that could have been very lonely, Jordan stepped in and took care of her. He brought her food, made sure she stayed hydrated, and checked in on her every chance he got. He encouraged her, helped her keep up on classes, and brought her assignments that she had missed. When someone is confined to a dorm room, there is not much to do except talk – so that is what they did. They talked about life, school, dreams, hopes, hardships, and relationships. The summer after their freshman year they returned to WSU and saw each other in the hall way. They hugged and that was when they knew that their friendship was over and their relationship had begun.
Now 6 years later they are husband and wife!! They said “I Do” at the Plateau Club in Sammamish Washington on the balcony overlooking the golf course. The sun was radiant and produced a killer sunset. Bohemian rhapsody kicked off the greatest sing off between the bridal party, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Jordan’s dad came in with a screaming air guitar solo. The day could not have been more perfect, and we were so thankful to have been able to party with our friends on one of the greatest days of their lives. We know amazing things are in store for their future and we look forward to all the married shenanigans ahead!
We love you Jordan and Nicole!!!
